Just sharing some information about insurance for NGV converted vehicle and ngv kits. As many people ask me about it and this should at least clear some of their doubt (if any).

Below is a reply for my email to MSIG about the insurance coverage for NGV converted car and NGV kits.

Thank you for your e-mail, reply as per your requested about the insurance of NGV converted vehicle as below:-

I just wondering, do you cover insurance for NGV converted vehicle?  Yes.

If got,

1. Any additional premium required?  Yes.
2. how much you will cover for NGV kit? Based on the amount of the NGV Plus the vehicle Sum Insured.  Need copy of the receipt from the dealer of NGV
3. any additional clause/term and condition?  No
4. any special requirement? Copy of Puspakom inspection report and copy of vehicle registration card.

6. any different with normal motor insurance? No.

1st

If the car existing with PanGlobal Insurance, you need to forward to us a copy of Registration Card where the changes made from petrol to NGV conversion. We will do the endorsement in the system and forward you the copy of end for your safekeeping.

2nd

If customer New Business with us, during walk in or call in they have to mention about any conversion has been made to the car and bring together with the updated copy of registration card for our record.

Note : All the below questions does not require any payment or extra coverage thus the changes only apply if any different due to c.c upgraded or else matter.
