Nothing new, just wanted to remind/tell people the Truth Behind the NGV Car Explosion happened last year.

From the picture above, we can see that the tank is still intact and not much affected by the explosion.

Back of the merc badly destroyed.

The Star - December 2007.
The explosion is caused by the driver carrying Explosive Chemical (Acetylene) …container at rear compartment. Due to the Hot weather and enclosed environment plus the heat increase during the refiling of CNG gas at the station, the chemical overheated and explode!.

For more information, please see the following excellent video explanation by NGV Community. The video will clear the misunderstanding where the explosion is nothing to do with the NGV. It is safe to use. Please help forward this info to all your friends!

3Dear Sabariah,
First of all, congratulation on your choice to use NGV as the alternative to fuel.
Based on my finding on the net, Semi fibre cylinder has been used worldwide since 1980. It also worth to note that both, metal and semi fibre are gone through a same high level safety testing and both were passed accordingly.
You can refer to video above for the test run.
So, back a to basic requirement, is your installer is certified by JPJ and installation checked and tested by puspakom? If the answer for above are yes, then you no need to worry. Enjoy your savings on NGV.
